Ian Chatwell

Ian Chatwell grew up in small town Saskatchewan before moving out to the West Coast after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Land Use and Environmental Studies. In 1999 he joined Transport Canada and spent many years of his career managing environmental investigation and remediation projects on federal airports, harbours, ports and air navigation sites. In his current position as the Regional Director, Programs for Transport Canada’s Pacific Region, Ian provides oversight to regional airport and port operations; real property management and divestiture; delivery of the navigation protection program; environmental services; and Aboriginal consultation.
