International Women's Day, observed on March 8, honours women's societal, economic, cultural, and political contributions worldwide. It's also a day to highlight the pursuit of gender equality. The IAMC-TMX Socioeconomic Subcommittee (SESC) celebrates the important influence and impact that Indigenous women continue to have in upholding their families and cultures, and recognizes the profound contributions of all female Indigenous leaders, including our own IAMC-TMX Indigenous Caucus Members. Pictured are some of the women involved in the formation of the IAMC-TMX: Noreen Saddleback, Tracy Friedel, Laura Sparrow, and Carleen Thomas. #IWD2024 #InspireInclusion #EnvironmentalProtection #IndigenousCollaboration #ClimateAction #IndigenousWisdom #SustainableFuture
