Chief Gladstone is the elected Chief of the Shxwhway Village. Prior to that, he has worked in various capacities from Band Manager to Councillor. He grew up surrounded by Elders who passed along traditional teachings in songs and ceremony. He is continuously involved with various committees and boards, including the Indigenous Environmental Monitoring Committee, Lower Fraser Fishing Alliance, Indigenous Bloom, Coqualeetza Cultural Education Centre Society and more.
